Some operations are straightforward and routinely performed at Vets Barn. Where a case would benefit from additional surgical expertise, we may discuss support from VOST Surgery or another referral partner so that the most appropriate option is considered.

We encourage questions and will talk you through expected recovery, follow-up and anything that may affect the final cost.

Before Surgery
We will explain preparation, fasting instructions, likely timings and any pre-operative checks recommended for your pet.

During Treatment
Your pet is monitored by the clinical team throughout anaesthesia and surgery using an approach appropriate to the procedure.

You will receive clear guidance on recovery, medication, wound care, activity and any follow-up appointments.
